Trinidad Neighborhood Association Summer Social & Distillery Tour

file-page1-8
Join friends and neighbors for the Trinidad Neighborhood Association's upcoming Summer Social this Saturday from 1-4pm. The group is traveling to the One Eight Distillery in the nearby Ivy City neighborhood for a free distillery tour.

This event is 21+ and you must bring valid photo ID. Sample their craft spirits. Buy a cocktail or two in the tasting room. Need food to go with it? No sweat, the BONMi food truck will be on hand selling their delicious Vietnamese style sandwiches.

21+ is not very kid friendly. Can't they put out some juice boxes or something? My kids are curious about distilleries.

They, and other local breweries/distilleries, will let kids in the distillery. Under 21 cannot drink obviously; IDs are checked at the door. Parents have to supervise kids to make sure they do not drink anything. Babies and older kids can go on tour but the distillery requested that no toddlers go on the tour of the production floor for safety reasons (I assume because they tend to fall and most often they refuse to listen to when told NO). They can stay in the bar area with a parent during the tour.
