Browne Education Campus (850 26th Street) Principal Andre Samuels is asking the community to step up and help students get the supplies they need to go back to school prepared. He lays out some of the basics below. Browne serves students from Pre-K through eighth grade. Many of those students live in the Langston-Carver Terrace Community.

Greetings Parents, Neighbors, and Community Supporters:
The students at Hugh M. Browne Education Campus had a great school year!
  • Student satisfaction (80%) and attendance (92%) are at an all-time high
  • Student truancy is at an all-time low (1.7%)
  • 81% of our students reached their year-end math goal
  • 67% of our elementary students are reading at or above grade level
Now it is time to prepare our students for the 2015-2016 academic year with brand new school supplies. Many of our families struggle to purchase supplies (pens, pencils, notebooks, folders, rulers, crayons) for school. Browne EC partnered with Staples and Kitz for Kids to organize a school supply drive to support our students. Please click on the link below to learn how you can sponsor a student. For each student sponsored, Browne EC will provide a free bookbag to accompany their new supplies.
Kits are only $13.50 each.
