I'm very sorry to hear it, it was a good shop, clean, well organized but, we tended to grow things at home
or shop at Costco.

Unhelpful staff on their cellphones a lot of the time, sticky floors, busted front window not replaced for months. It needed an owner who cared more about customers rather than just coasting on the brand and goodwill from the Barracks Row location. It never did click.

@ 7:24:00, Barracks Row is Yes! Organic. This is a completely different company/store.

Anyway, I'm a little sad to see this go, but we will have whole foods soon enough. It was just a matter of time anyway.

This wasn't a good organic store. Most of their inventory is available at Giant down the street for half the price. Dirty store too.

good riddance.

I didn't think it would last, but having a place easily walkable to get necessities is so nice. When you are old and lazy like me, the extra 4 blocks to Giant is too far away.

Sorta like how easy it is to get a Margarita while walking the dogs from Chupacabra. Sure it may not be the best Margarita in town, but it's so close and makes walking the dogs so much more enjoyable.

+ a million Jesse. Convenience over all!

Disappointed and feel bad for the owners, but this is not a surprising closure at all. There was no draw other than convenience, no customer service, enthusiasm, interest; a very awkward capuccino bar) -- it just did not work.

PS - I love Chupacabra's magaritas! And they have some of the best guac in town.

I wanted so much to like it, but they never removed their rotten/expired food and I just got sick of having to throw things away after every purchase... expired yogurt, rotten fruit, week-old bakery bread, you name it. You can't just leave food on the shelf till it sells - especially at those prices!
