As part of its Homecoming celebration Gallaudet University is holding an open house and book sale on the 4th & 5th floors of Peet Hall Friday (9:30am-2pm). The open house is to show off the new Gallaudet Interpreting Services, Office of National Outreach, and Gallaudet University Press office spaces. This event is open to the public, not just folks associated with the University. Here's a little info from the event page on Facebook:

Light refreshments will be served on the fifth floor lobby.
There will be a book sale on the fourth floor conference room with deeply discounted prices for Gallaudet University Press books, journals, and DVDs.
$10 for scholarly hardbacks
$5 for paperbacks, children's books, & recent journal issues
$5 for DVDs

The sale will be first come, first serve, so be sure to get here early. A list of available titles will be posted soon.
Peet Hall is very close to Union Market if you use the 6th St entrance
