An alert just went out for a shooting a little before 7:30pm tonight. Less than 30 minutes earlier a stabbing was reported a very short distance away in the the 1000 block of Mt. Olivet Road. Both locations are on the southern border of Ivy City.
Alert: Shooting at 1923 hrs in the 1100 block of Mount Olivet Rd. NE. No lookout.
