Local groups H Street Runners and the Argonaut Running Club are teaming up to host a runner motivation station tomorrow, from which they will cheer on runners attempting the full or half Rock 'n' Roll Marathon. Anyone who is interested is welcome to join them outside the Queen Vic (1206 H Street) starting at 8am. The Queen Vic will open at 8am with full breakfast and brunch options, as well as plenty of food and drink specials for the occasion. Live bands will play nearby at the Rock 'n' Roll H Street stage (12th and H Street) starting at 9am.

Motivation station organizer Adam Siple explains "Our goal is to help make H Street one of the most high-energy stretches off the marathon course,"  adding that the group will have posters/signs, candy for runners, and noisemakers to keep up the energy. In keeping with the Rock 'n' Roll theme they encourage folks to dress as rock stars, and will award prizes for the best costumes or outfits. The motivation station is family friendly, and welcomes runners, and non-runners alike. You can learn more on the Facebook event page. There's a poster making happy hour party tonight at the Argonaut (1433 H Street) following the Argonaut Running Club's 6pm run.
