SingSing Karaoke Palace (1222 H Street) is coming soon to the corridor. It's dream come true for karaoke fans, particularly if you've ever wanted to do your singing in a private room with push button waiter service with noodles, sushi, and a full bar. It's a project from the team behind next door neighbor Sticky Rice (1224 H Street).

A post over at Greater Greater Washington debunks the idea that it's faster to walk than take the streetcar.

Capital Fringe (1353 Florida Ave) is seeking volunteers to help out with painting some doors for their upcoming Fringe Festival. Volunteers are needed 11am-7pm next Monday through Friday. Fringe is offering free tickets to shows for volunteers. Email production[at]capitalfringe.org if you want to pitch in on the effort.
