Friday, April 1

Honfleur and Vivid Solutions Galleries–6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
French Doors by Aziza Claudia Gibson-Hunter opens at Honfleur Gallery and Primordial Planes by Alexandra Chiou opens at Vivid Solutions Gallery.
Honfleur Gallery is located at 1241 Good Hope Rd. SE. 
Vivid Solutions Gallery is located next door at 1231 Good Hope Rd. SE.


Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center–6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Local artist Antionette S. Hodges presents her works in the solo exhibition, Images by ASH.
Congress Heights Arts & Culture Center is located at 3200 MLK Jr. Ave. SE.

ReCreative Spaces–6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Christine Stoddard evokes the feminine mystique through a series of photo-collages and mixed media.  The opening includes an art-making workshop.  Suggested donation $5.

Gallery Neptune & Brown–5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
International artist Foon Sham showcases both his sculpture work and works on paper in the exhibition, Exuberant Journey.

Brentwood Arts Exchange–5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Brentwood Arts Exchange opens Boundless: Aging and Creativity Curated by University of Maryland College Park Students.

Foundry Gallery – 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Visual Meditations marks the solo debut of Lindsay Mullen in the United States. The exhibition features paintings that respond to places in which she has lived.

Otis Street Arts Project–5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Otis Street Arts Project celebrates their first anniversary with the opening of The Critiqued. In this exhibition artists who have participated in The Critique will present their works.

Gallery NK–6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Nadia Arditta’s exhibition Moonlight features sculptural works by the artist. Proceeds will benefit Anatolian Artisans “Soma Project.”

Hamiltonian–7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Hamiltonian presents two concurrent exhibitions—Allison Spence’s Spread and Jim Leach’s Hot Water.

The Fridge–7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
In There Is No Plan B, artist Gregg Deal decries the current political and social state of United States.
