By spending over 20 years as an entrenched political incumbent who represents the very worst of Congressional malaise and ideological intractability. Railroaded a very real chance at getting actual representation to block gun laws which were nullified by the SCOTUS anyway... so now we have no representation and no (well, fewer) gun laws.
