Local News Brief: Japanese Breakfast, Molière, & Wunder Garten Relocates

The X2 bus collided with a trash truck yesterday evening near 8th and H Street and blocked the streetcar's path in the process.

District Cuisine reveals that Wunder Garten will reopen at a new NoMa location. Their previous location was just off the Metro at 150 M Street and was facing redevelopment. The new location 1st and L Street is more permanent. According to Wunder Garten's website they hope to reopen in late June.



Faction of Fools Theatre Company presents Molière's comedy The Miser at Gallaudet's Eastman Studio Theater. Performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday through June 26th. Special Monday performance June 13th. Open captioning available upon request for all performances. Select performances in ASL. Tickets are $25 general admission, $18 for students, military, seniors, and groups, $12 for children 12 and under. PWYC performance tonight at 8 pm. 90 minute run time. Appropriate for ages 7 years and up.

Tilit’s Founder, Chef Alex McCrery and Toki Underground Chef Jonathan Uribe will host a Japanese style breakfast Sunday at Toki Underground (2nd floor of 1234 H Street). Three seatings are available (12 pm, 1 pm, and 2 pm). Tickets are $30, with drinks not included. Here's the menu:
