Local News Brief: SingSing Opening, Pow Pow Donates to Orlando Victims, Uni Bistro Expands Hours

SingSing Karaoke Palace (1222 H Street), from the Sticky Rice (1224 H Street) team) is set to open on the 22nd. Patrons can push a button to summon a server. SingSing will serve noodles and sushi from Sticky Rice and offer a full bar. They offer two private rooms that can be booked by the hour for groups.



All this week Asian-inspired eatery Pow Pow (1253 H Street) is donating 100% of the proceeds from their beverage sales to the relief of the families and victims of the Orlando tragedy.

District Cuisine reports that Uni Bistro (403 H Street, formerly known as Batter Bowl Bakery) is expanding its hours (8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.) to add dinner service and a happy hour that will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
