Zagat recently put out a list of 7 New DC-Area Spots for Fried Chicken, and plant based Fare Well (406 H Street) made the list for their chicken-fried seitan and waffles. This is honestly some vegan food that anyone who likes food is going to love.

The Big Board (421 H Street) is selling tickets for their upcoming Beer School with Hellbender Brewing. The $30 tickets get you six 6-ounce pours, some fun brewery schwag, and the chance to hangout with Hellbender head brewer Ben Evans. 7 to 9 p.m., July 27th.
