Another in a series of closing DC businesses I would have visited had I known they existed.

looking forward to the new small plates tapas place that's going to open up there, complete with artisanal cheese tastings.

Damn.

My honey and I went there on occasion -- nice nights listening to bands we'd never heard of and probably never would again. There are seemingly very few places like that in DC, doing their best to help out the *local* music scene, and this one was in walking distance.

Now it'll be replaced with yet another faux-hip bar or a restaurant with locally-sourced sustainably-raised artisanally-crafted ice cubes. Until that place dies too because the location doesn't get much foot traffic.

Dammit.

The owners stupidity and cluelessness as to how to run a business is the reason that this place is closing.
