Those of us spending the holidays in the area might want to take a look at the streetcar's service changes over the holidays. The streetcar will run during normal service hours except on Christmas, when it will be closed. Monday, December 26 and Monday, January 2 are federal holidays during which District and federal government offices will be closed. The streetcar will operate on a regular schedule on these days with 10 to 15-minute headways and service from 6 a.m. through midnight.

Sunday, Dec. 25 (Christmas Day)
CLOSED
Monday, Dec. 26
6 am – midnight
Saturday, Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve)
8 am – 2 am
Sunday, Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day)

Monday, Jan. 2
6 am – midnight

Driftwood Kitchen is open with a limited menu.
Star & Shamrock is open and celebrating Xmas Mitzvah 6 with a very special menu of items like Kung Pao Pastrami, General Tso's Latkes, and Rueben Egg Rolls.
