Hundreds of thousands of people turned out on Saturday for the Women's March here in the District, and the streetcar helped carry many marchers to the event. With 7,347 riders, Saturday ended up being the streetcar's busiest day other than its opening day. Rider trips totaled out at 3,579 on inauguration day, but both days combined set a two-day record for the streetcar.

It's hard to believe it's been five years since Atlas Vet (1326 H St.) opened its doors on H Street, but the crew marked the occasion yesterday with celebratory drinks at Biergarten Haus (1355 H St.).

The Queen Vic (1206 H St.) celebrates Robert Burns Night for much of this week with food and drink specials Wednesday through Sunday. On the menu:
Or all 3 courses for $30.00.

Wash it down with a Belhaven Beer Flight with HP Dark Origin Digestif for $16.35.
