Gallaudet University (800 Florida Ave.) will host a free performance by the U.S. Air Force Airmen of Note jazz ensemble tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Elstad Auditorium. The concert is open to the community, and you can get tickets online.

You can catch the Can We Get an Angkor? comedy showcase tomorrow at Maketto (1351 H St.) from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. No cover.

D.C. based-duo BOOMscat is throwing a party at Big Chief (2002 Fenwick St.) on Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. before they head off to SXSW. BOOMscat will perform, as will a mystery guest. They'll have a pop up shop as part of the event, which will also incorporate art and fashion. Drink specials and food will be available. The 21+ event is free, but they are accepting donations to support the musicians on their trip to Austin.
