A Stroller & Walking History Tour of H Street NE

Jewish Historical Society of Greater Washington will offer a stroller friendly walking tour of H Street NE on Sunday, June 4 from 10 am to 11:30 am.

"Experience our newest walking tour on a walking tour geared especially towards families with young children in strollers. More than 75 Jewish-owned businesses once lined H Street, NE. Learn about the immigrant roots and Jewish history of this rapidly changing neighborhood."

Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Children 5 years of age and under are free. Registration is required, and tour size is limited due to narrow sidewalks. The tour starts at the CVS at 645 H Street NE.

In the Mood for Brunch?

Start your Memorial Day weekend early as DC Harvest (517 H Street NE) launches their new Friday lunch service. Lunch will be available for parties sitting down to dine between 11 am and 2:15 pm, but the restaurant will serve drinks and dessert until 3:45 pm. The menu features popular items from the restaurant's brunch menu, as well as bottomless mimosas and bloody marys. You can also order one of their non-alcoholic spritzers, such as the cucumber ginger lime.

Ben's Upstairs (2nd floor of 1001 H Street NE) is also doing a special brunch from 11 am to 6 pm today.

Catching Up with Dio Wine Bar

The Hill is Home has details on Dio Wine Bar, which will open this summer at 904 H Street NE.
