DC Brau Limited Release Celebrates Jimmy Valentine's 10th Birthday

Local brewery DC Brau (3178 Bladensburg Rd NE B) is putting out a special limited release beer to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Jimmy Valentine's Lonely Heart's Club (1103 Bladensburg Road NE). Jimmy's is widely known for its excellent selection of bottled and canned beers. The brew, dubbed Jimmy Valentine's Total Victory, is a pale weizenbock that comes in at 7.8% ABV. It's crisp, smooth, and easy drinking with hints of pear and banana. You can order a tallboy right now at Jimmy Valentine's or its sister bar Little Miss Whiskey's (1104 H Street NE), and the cans will hit the rest of the District next week.

Whole Foods Run Club Joins the Local Pack

Runners now have another good reason to flock to the Whole Foods at 600 H Street NE. They've launched the Whole Foods Run Club (#WholeFoodsRunClub on Twitter). Join the group every Tuesday at 6:30 pm for a run, and enjoy happy hour specials after.
