There was a shooting yesterday evening in the 600 block of Morton Place NE (between L and M Streets). I don't have any information on the status of the victim. The alert, which appear below, went out at 7:23 pm.

Just a point of clarification on this, as someone who lives on this block, the shooting did not occur on Morton Pl. The victim was shot elsewhere and came to Morton Pl, where he was picked up by an ambulance and taken to a hospital. Just want folks to know there was not a shooting on Morton, Pl.
