The Capital Fringe Festival is now in full swing with theatre and music galore. The festival runs through July 30, and events will take place at several local venues, as well as throughout the District. You can use their pdf guide to figure out which shows you'll want to catch. You''ll need a Fringe button, as well as a ticket, to get into the shows. No Fringe button is necessary if you just want to hangout at the Fringe Arts Bar (running with extended hours during the festival), located inside Capital Fringe's home base at 1358 Florida Avenue NE. Tickets to all shows are $17, but you can buy discounted ticket packages and share them with friends. The Washington City Paper, DCist, DC Metro Theater Arts, and DC Theatre Scene are good places to look for individual reviews.
