Celebrate Oktoberfest at Wunder Garten in NoMa (First & L Street NE) September 22nd through 24th. They've got a whole weekend of festivities planned with plenty of live music, fun for the kids, German food, and lots of beer.
Friday (4pm–12 am)
*Ceremonial taping of the first Spaten Oktoberfest Maerzen Beer at 5 pm
*Live Oktoberfest music 5–10 pm by "Die Drei Band"
*Steinholding competition and festivities
Saturday (12 pm–12 am)
*12–4 pm: Family Oktoberfest: family games, face painting, balloon twisting, ice cream, and music for the kids.
*5–10 pm: The BIG Oktoberfest party with DJ Lehi, DJ Lederhosen, and friends

Sunday (12–10 pm)
*Live Oktoberfest music 4–9 pm by "Die Drei Band"
*German Pig Roast, Cafe Berlin is roasting a whole hog (starts at 3 pm, while supplies last)
*Steinholding competition and festivities
Authentic German fare provided by Café Berlin: grilled Bratwurst and Bauernwurst, Bretzel and Obatzter, original potato salad, Gurkensalat, and Sauerkraut
On tap: Oktoberfest beers from the leading Bavarian breweries, specially brewed and imported for Oktoberfest.
