1433 H Street NE (Former Home of the Argonaut) for Lease

A bit of interesting news comes to us from Twitter user @TheX2BusDC, who spotted "For Lease" banners hanging up at 1433 H Street NE, the building formerly home to the Argonaut. The Argonaut closed its doors due to an ownership dispute in late July of 2016. Prior to its closure, the restaurant and bar had been a popular neighborhood gathering place that managed to draw crowds for its pub quiz and Science Night, as well as for its family friendly atmosphere. It first opened in 2005. The space has remained vacant since the closure. Here's the listing on LoopNet.

Does anyone remember the building when it had railings and a walk around balcony?

It was built in 1930, yet there are no photographs until 2005!

And people say it appeared in old films, but which films?
