MPD Seeks to ID Person of Interest in Early Morning Robbery on H Street

The Metropolitan Police Department has released surveillance camera images of a man they are calling a person of interest in a robbery that took place early this morning on H Street NE.

According to the flyer, "[a]t approximately 6:07 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. As an employee was completing a sale, the suspect reached over the counter and stole US currency from the cash register. The suspect then fled the scene."

That listed location is identified only as the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast," but it appears to be the interior of a certain restaurant that serves up a very fine breakfast.
