Mythology (816 H Street NE) made a major announcement via email on Friday. The restaurant and lounge occupying the first two floors of the three story building will vacate the 1st floor in order to focus fully on the 2nd floor lounge. Mythology ceased first floor operations this past Sunday, but will soon be back up and running upstairs.
At the moment Mythology's 2nd floor lounge space is a Star Wars inspired pop up called The Darkside Bar, and the pop up is scheduled to stick around through January 15th. Once The Darkside Bar pop up concludes, Mythology's colorful clouds and signature fries will head upstairs. If you have gift certificates for Mythology, you'll still be able to use them one their lounge reopens in early 2018.
A fast casual concept called Clean Eatz will take over the 1st floor. According to its website Clean Eatz is "on a mission to spread the good news of living a healthy lifestyle." They launched in Wilmington, NC in 2011, and now have lots of locations in the Carolinas and surrounding states. This will be their first location in the District. They serve burgers, topped flatbreads, wraps, and bowls. Most of those options will run you about $8, but the website does indicate prices may vary by location. CleanEatz also offers a meal plan option.
New England sports fan bar Dirty Water will remain unchanged on the 3rd floor.
