In other local restaurant news, Bar Elena (414 H Street NE) is rolling out a family-friendly happy hour on Tuesdays 5–7pm. The restaurant invites you to come out and meet other families in the neighborhood. The happy hour features drink specials for adults and games for the kids.
Ledo Pizza opened earlier this week at 816 H Street NE. Ledo is a Maryland-based franchise with over 100 locations in the District and five states. They are known for their thin crust rectangular pizzas. You can dine-in at this location (the even have highchairs) or pick up carryout, but you cannot order delivery. They are open 11am–10pm Monday through Thursday, 11am–11pm Friday and Saturday, and 12–9pm on Sundays.
Bar Elena also announced new Monday hours. As of July 2nd this neighborhood spot will now be open 6pm–midnight every Monday. If you haven't been to Bar Elena yet, do yourself a favor by heading there soon to try their excellent lobster roll (available with butter or mayo).
