Naby's Island to Open September 15th

They'll have music, door prizes and more (including a chance to win a cruise if you spend $20 or more). My understanding is that Naby's will be a sitdown restaurant serving inexpensive Caribbean fare. Check out their website for more details.

  4. The grand opening should work well with H street Festival. I hope that they are really prepared for a lot of business.

  5. I'm impressed that they're planning to serve Ackee & Saltfish. I hope they have someone to make sure the ackee isn't overripe; otherwise, they'll have some sick customers!

  9. I also attended the grand opening and I was very impressed. The service was execellent. I had the curry shrimp, peas and rice and meat patties. All were tasty, but I especially enjoyed the meat patties. They've got to be the best I've tasted outside of Jamaica.
