Sidamo Open Until 2pm Labor Day
Hey, Sidamo is open until 2pm monday, so if you are considering your Labor Day options, please consider our local coffee shop. Also, SOVA will be open soon (possibly within a month).
Just visited Sidamo for the first time on Saturday - had the best mocha I've ever had. The atmosphere was great, lots of families and people stopping in for a smoothie after yoga across the street. I loved that the owners seemed to know lots of the kids by name. This will become regular stop for me.
the owners of sidamo are some of the most wonderful, warm people I have ever known. we recently moved out of the city and i got a call from mimi just calling to see how we are. we miss them-and their wonderful coffee and tea-terribly.
sidamo embodies the kind of unique, vibrant, community gathering spot that is important in creating an identity for neighborhods and connecting the people who live in it.
not trying to wax poetic- but we really love and miss that vibe!!
Guys, please be polite. Remember that these people are your neighbors. I ask also that anonymous users leave some kind of tag [e.g. big green cat] for the sake of being able to follow a thread. Be respectful and have fun.
What is SOVA?
ReplyDeleteSOVA is a new wine and espresso bar moving into the space formerly occupied by Rhythm and Beans.

ReplyDeleteI saw Frank (the owner of SOVA) at Sidamo on Saturday, he told me that he hopes to open the weekend of September 15th.

Tuesday is Ethiopian/Coptic New Year in case anyone wants to wish Kenfe & Mimi well. I think they'll be open at least part of the day.
