The Mysterious Chair

I mentioned this in the last H Street Life column, ut I'm still at a loss as to who is behind the blue chair suspended on a pole some distance above the earth. This is on the vacant lot in the 300 block of H Street. Anyone have some answers for me?

    I thought that maybe this was what the government shelled out millions of dollars for to improve the cultural aesthetics of the neighborhood.

    This is what I've come to accept as "normal" these days.

    I've seen another one in a vacant lot near Eckington Place and Harry Thomas Way NE (near FL and NY).

    It has been there for quite some time and I think it is kind of funny. It reminds me of some of the things you would see in San Fransisco.

    I luv it. I call it "chair-on-a-stick". Not very creative, I know but I love seeing it. I also grabbed a shot on my phone but don't know how to show it to you.

    Hopefully it won't go away...or if it does, that it get's replaced by a Trader Joe's
