I just heard 5 fairly rapid gunshots that sounded like they came from either the 1100 block of Morse, or further up Montello. No details. Hopefully no injuries this time.
I'm actually hearing from people who think this was south of Florida, maybe closer to the 9-1100 blocks of K Street. I can't tell. It just sounds west of me.
Apparently 8th is now blocked off between L and Florida, so that may be it.

ReplyDeleteSure enough I now see yellow tape and those little evidence signs (likely for shell casings) on the street corner of 8th & L.
Sunday afternoon the cops had the road blocked off there with at least half a dozen cars and a perp cuffed on the curb... MPD report suggest possession of a firearm - related?

I heard them too, from a block or so south of 13th and H St.

ReplyDeleteNot sure of this thread's timeline, however i'm pretty sure shots were fired at a police car on the 1100 block of h today.( today being tuesday about midday).
