Atlas Room to Open at 1015 H Street
As I previously reported, a new restaurant is set to open up at 1015 (Napa's old space). HStreetDC identifies it as the Atlas Room, and says it will serve modern American food. No word on whether it was a lease, or a sale.
"Also known as the Atlas District—named for a former movie theater that now houses the Atlas Performing Arts Center—it’s a diverse three-block swath of nightlife that has been blossoming over the past few years." -washingtonian.com
Guys, please be polite. Remember that these people are your neighbors. I ask also that anonymous users leave some kind of tag [e.g. big green cat] for the sake of being able to follow a thread. Be respectful and have fun.
Not sure what I think of the Atlas Room in the Atlas District (a moniker that I dislike).

ReplyDeletenot on parker,
ReplyDeleteyou can be the second person to join my movement to call the neighborhood "The Wire(s)" if you want
Does it also have ties to the Atlas Theater? Strange name.
ReplyDeletemaybe the Napa 1015 crew are going to give it another go now that there is some more activity in the 1000 block.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a spot of good luck. How I miss their food.
They said they were going to try and lease the space. Can't imagine them selling it.
