H Street CVS Pharmacy Robbed

The new CVS at 645 Street was robbed yesterday. Thankfully, no one was hurt.

From a local MPD listserv:

On today's date at around 2:26PM, (2) subjects entered the CVS store located at 645 H Street, Northeast, proceeded to the pharmacy counter where they jumped the counter, held down an employee, and stole medication from the shelf.  Both subjects then exited the store, and fled southbound in the 700 block of 7th Street, Northeast.

There were no injuries associated with this offense.

This case is currently being investigated by the First District Investigative Unit.

    One would think so, but that MPD alert is the only mention of the incident I've seen anywhere.

    Maybe the perpetrators had a troubled childhood.

    Welcome to the neighborhood!

    I'll never forget when I first moved to the neighborhood my car was broken in to in the first couple weeks. Some things never change, lol
