Jesus christ.
ReplyDeletehow can a shooter just disappear in broad daylight?
ReplyDeleteViolent crime seems likes its increasing. #Bowser
ReplyDeleteThree witnesses, I suspect they didn't see anything.
ReplyDeleteIs this by the laundry or was this down by the church?
I was riding the streetcar and thought I saw a crime scene being worked by the laundry.
Pat,
ReplyDeleteIt was by the laundromat.
Lets put this in perspective. More black men get killed in PSA 507 in a year than get killed by cops nationwide in a decade. Numbers do not lie. President Trump should put Mayor Bowser on Official Notice via Twitter, like he did for Chicago, that if she doesn't get this fixed in a year that he will send in the Feds. #BlackLivesMatter
ReplyDeleteAnon 5:39 -- really, REALLY bad troll. You could have made a claim that seemed at least *possibly* plausible. Instead, you came up with one that was just absurdly silly. On the order of 200 black men get killed each year by police. 2000 black men a year killed in PSA 507? Ha.
ReplyDeleteBeen following all the protests and seems like all the white folks are marching for everything but black lives...must have been a fad like kale
ReplyDelete@ 8:40, I don't think that's entirely accurate. People have concerns against the administration. A lot of concerns. It seems something similar to Occupy. I don't know. There are a lot of issues that somehow seems to involve Starbucks and Bank of America. It's very confusing. The issue of African Americans getting killed by police seems to be one of the major ones.
ReplyDeleteViolent crime in urban areas, which happens to be mostly done by African Americans, is a another concern on the opposite side. Police trying to do their jobs get caught in the middle. Innocent African Americans trying to live like everyone else are caught up in this too. Among other issues too that seem to involve are Syrians wanting to live in the US of all places to live at the moment.
And there are those who don't want to get involved in the national debate. Who want to go to work, get home at a reasonable time, and safely, have a hot dinner and maybe hope to get HJ or something at the end of the day.
In my observation, the majority of victims of these kinds of violent crimes in NE have been criminals themselves. This didn't look like a mugging or a robbery - this looks like some petty gang beef that escalated.
ReplyDeleteAnon 9:17 -- Interesting. Can you elaborate on the analysis you used to arrive at that conclusion? Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHas anyone done the math?
ReplyDeleteAt what date Will the black on black crime deaths and resulting incarcerationa result in no living African Americans ( NB: I did not say black or brown)
in the US ?
Annoying 9:17 - Troll baiting aside (though perhaps it was I who seemingly laid the bait), which conclusion do you refer - the "petty gang beef" piece? Something about walking up in broad daylight outside a laundromat in that neighborhood and gunning someone down in that manner.
ReplyDeleteAnon 1:11 -- not sure if you're responding to me, since I'm Annoyingmous, but I wasn't 9:17. Anyway, it seemed like Anon 9:17 was saying that this looked like "a petty gang beef that escalated," and I wondered why, since I can certainly think of plenty of other (sadly) common scenarios that would play out the same way but don't involve the victim being a gang member or a criminal or both: someone decided they'd been disrespected; someone got mad that someone else was flirting with/having sex with/whatever the wrong woman; someone saw something that someone else didn't want them to; etc.
ReplyDeleteeither way it is natural selection at work. The fittest shall survive. Whomever walked out of that parking lot was the fittest. No one cares about the poor and invisible anymore its all about the rights of immigrants and woman ....keep up folks !
ReplyDeleteAnon 8:53: you're a moron.
ReplyDeleteHTH. HAND.
