Unik Style Now Open at 707 H
Thanks to Jim for doing the leg work on this one. Jim reports that Unik Style now has a sign up and will be opening soon. The owner described Unik as a hip-hop clothing store that will target a young audience and sell mostly t-shirts and jeans.

What are you guys/gals thoughts on renovation/reopening of Wheatly School on Montello and what impact it is going to have in Trinidad hood and real estate?
It certainly can't be a bad thing to have a totally renovated school on Neal rather than a vacant building. When completed, Wheatley should be a much nicer space that Webb. I also hoping that the reopening will help out Joe Cole -the adjacent recreation center.
I love to shop at unik style 707 h St. NE 20002, i always find what i want. brands like googi, black label, spyder, ed hardy, levis and more. It is small store but believe me you will be surprised. let's try to support this store in our neighborhood it's a good thing that happened.

If you get word of Unik opening, please let us know.
Thanks.
Kerry,
It is open as of today.
Just a small correction. The name of the clothing store at 707 H is "Unik Style" (not Unik Clothing)
Oops. Thanks 7th, it's fixed now.
Joe Cole is named after the first Black Director of DPR [if I remember correctly.
Am I the only one who reads the name of this place as "You-Nick" Style instead of the obviously intended "You-Neek" Style?
Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want people to know I shop at a place that sounds like Eunuch Style.
