WP: The Last Days of Judas Iscariot

P1010015_4
The Washington Post gushes over Forum Theater's production of the Last Day's of Judas Iscariot at the H Street Playhouse. The review is liberally dosed with words and phrases like “exhilarating,” “preposterously entertaining.” The reviewer describes the production as “a literate cartoon, transforming familiar biblical figures into modern street-corner caricatures -- hustlers and gangbangers.” Honestly, check out the appraisal for yourself, it's well worth the read.
The author also has some very kind words for the theater, describing it as “funky, comfortable,” and “one of the city's best venues for serious theater.” The H Street Playhouse is located at 1365 H Street. Call 800-494-TIXS or visit http://www.forumtheatredc.org for tickets. Tickets are 15-20 dollars.
