First Saturday May 1st

May 1st is the inaugural First Saturday on H Street. Each first Saturday there will be all days events all down H Street. Come out on Saturday and check out the first one.

I forgot to mention that Swing into Spring is also on Saturday.

Swing Into Spring is an annual benefit for  Capital City Symphony, Joy of Motion Dance Center, Washington Savoyards and the In Series--- all members of the Atlas Performing Arts Center. All proceeds from the event will go to these organizations' artistic and educational programs.

Buffet Dinner (+ one drink), Desserts, Cash Bar, Free Swing Dance Lesson, Live Entertainment, and Silent Auction.

True story folks, this is the 8th or 9th annual bacon cook-off for the Baco de Maio posse. 4 grills will be set up out back as bacon is cooked and served in all forms possible: smoked bacon, bacon ice cream, deep-fried bacon, bacon-wrapped bacon? feel free to bring a pack o* the pig and join the festivities as

Dan Amitai djs all afternoon and evening. At night it's DJ Wondermike, Needles & DJ Blurry Vision.
