CP: Looks at Virgina v. Loving, & Recalling the Trinidad Link

The City Paper recently celebrated the 44th anniversary of the marriage of Mildred Jeter and Richard Loving. The marriage of the interracial couple would (after a multi-year court battle that lead all the way to the Supreme Court) lead to the striking out down of anti-miscegenation laws across the country. I hear the same bs crap today over gay marriage.

Amazing the ignorance and the hatred people had and have towards one another.
