I received a note about a pretty interesting event at Little Miss Whiskey's tomorrow night:

I'm a DC-based comedian recording a live comedy podcast called Sadness Town at Little Miss Whiskey's [1104 H Street] on Tuesday, September 9th. The idea of the show is that I have another comic come on, share a handful of songs that were important to them in high school, then we kind of riff on nostalgia and embarrassment for an hour to an hour and a half. I've recorded shows live around DC at Bier Baron and a few house venues, and the first couple episodes are up on iTunes. This is my first attempt at doing a show on H Street and I'd really appreciate any help in getting the word out.

...and from Facebook event pageThis guest is a doozy - Bengt Washburn, a Mormon boy from Utah and a king hell comic who has appeared on Conan and Comedy Central.

The show starts at 7pm. 21+ only.
