Taste of H is back for a 4th year of fundraising in support of  J. O. Wilson Elementary (660 K Street). J. O. Wilson is part of the District of Columbia Public Schools. It has a student population of over 400 elementary aged children.
The organizers of Taste of H present an evening of live music, wine and beer, and a tasting of some of the best restaurants from our very own H Street Corridor. Attendees will find live and silent auctions of all sorts of distinctive items and services available in our neck of the woods. What's on the auction block this year? A private dinner for 15 at Sally’s Middle Name (1320 H Street), a bike from the Daily Rider (1108 H Street), a week‐long beach vacation, YMCA swimming lessons, and much more.

100% of the money raised at the volunteer-run Taste of H goes to Friends of J.O. Wilson and is managed by the parent organization The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region, which is a registered 501(c)3. 100% of that money goes to benefit students at J. O. Wilson.
The event will be held 6-10pm the evening of November 8th at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H Street). Tickets are $45 for entry, and $70 for the VIP package. Admission includes tastings from 15
H Street restaurants, open bar, music and live & silent auction. This event raises money for kids, but the evening is adults only. Funds raised in previous years have paid for teacher trainings, school‐wide field trips, family emergency funds and have provided students with vital educational tools and technology.  Can't make it, but still want to support this worthwhile cause? You can donate on the event's website.

Any info on whether tickets will be available at the door? (I couldn't tell from the website.)

LB,
I checked, and was told they will have tickets for sale at the door provided the event is not sold out in advance. Your best bet is to buy a ticket through their website I you want to be safe.
