Khepra's is Moving

The blog District Cuisine has a post up announcing that Khepra's (402 H Street NE), a raw food and juice bar with quite the following (and great food), is moving a few doors down to 408 H Street NE. I've heard rumors for quite a while that Khepra's was seeking a larger space, and it's great to know they found one so near their current home.

Upcoming Fundraisers at the Pug

The Pug (1234 H Street NE) has two fundraisers coming up this week. Thursday 8–10pm they'll raise money for Bread for the City, and on Friday 10pm–midnight for Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS).

One Eight Distilling & Eat & Smile Catering Team Up for a Special Happy Hour

One Eight Distilling (1135 Okie Street NE) will host a seasonal happy hour celebrating local producers on Thursday (6–8pm) with Eat & Smile Catering. Eat & Smile Catering is the first locally sourced caterer in the Washington, DC area. With a strong focus on supporting local producers, Eat & Smile sources their meat, vegetables, fruit, dairy, and bread directly from farmers within 150 miles of the District. Tickets are $22, and that gets you one specialty One Eight Distilling cocktail, light appetizers from Eat & Smile Catering, and a tour of the One Eight facility. They'll have board games and a foosball table for guests. A portion of ticket sales will support Slow Food DC's initiatives to promote good, clean and fair food in the region.

7:15,
Based on OTR's database it looks like it's still John C. Formant of John C. Formant Real Estate (225 Pennsylvania Ave SE).
