R&B Coffee Reopened
R&B Coffee officially reopened (really this time) on Saturday. The owner, Alphonso, is continuing to work on expanding into the building next door (upstairs only), but will remain open during the work. Alphonso did make some changes during his recent closing. R&B now boasts various desserts and sandwiches (including paninis). R&B sandwiches will feature Atwater Bakers' breads once the Farm Fresh H Street Market returns on May 7th.

I went by there today at 3:30pm and the place was closed. There are no hours posted, no open sign...nothing. This is the third time that I've gone by to find it closed. I ready to give up on the the joint.
Ooh. Not good. I swear he was open on Saturday & Sunday. I asked if he was permanently reopened, and he said yes. I know that R&B is currently short staffed (and looking) so maybe he ran to the store for something. Here's the phone number: 202-397-4357. He does need to post some hours. I think the hours are still in flux (due in part to the staffing issues). I believe these are the current hours:
Closed Monday
Tuesday & Wednesday 11-7
Thursday & Friday 11-9
Saturday & Sunday 9-5
