Again, this is in Baltimore, but I think it's really interesting to look at what's going on over there. Baltimore has many of the same issues we deal with in parts of DC, and their City Paper, which is far superior to ours, always has great stories. This
story is about how to revitalize one neighborhood.

I read the article Weds. when I was in Balto. and it typifies why many very grassroots organizations fail. It's not enough to be from the neighborhood (although these people appear not to be). You have to know what you're doing. I agree with you about the Baltimore City Paper (and the Philly City Paper and Philadelphia Weekly). All are far superior to the Washington City Paper.
