Roof Top Films
Now here's a neat idea. Sort Screen on the Green with a NY twist. They show indie films on rooftops.

If Park Slope is too far, you can catch an outdoor movie in Baltimore, too. Charm City (Baltimore) has played outdoor movies like this for years, calling it the Little Italy Film Festival (it takes place in Little Italy). This year, movies will run July 5 to August 26. I always thought the wall of Hill Instant Carpet Service (1245 H St.) facing the AutoZone lot would make a great movie screen... if only there weren't so much oil on the ground.
The AutoZone lot was the first spot that sprang to my mind too. Lawn chairs, you would have to bring lawn chairs. But the traffic noise would be a problem (one advantage of being on a roof). Maybe we'll get a Dr. Dremo's like place & I could just catch movies there.
