DCPS Beautification Day Saturday
Just a reminder that the DC Public Schools Beautification Day is this Saturday. I believe that ANC Commissioner Marc Borbely is coordinating efforts for wards 5 & 6. You can reigister by following the link above. Hey, I don't know how the other schools are doing, but I understand that Trinidad's own Webb Elementary (more info here & here) only has 3 volunteers for the clean-up. Surely some more people could give up a Saturday morning (8am-1pm) for this good cause.

A new website has been set up to handle the enrollment of volunteers for this annual event to improve our schools. Anyone with an interest in our schools is encouraged to visit WWW.dcpsBeautificationDay.info and volunteer for a few hours on Saturday, August 26 from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
You may also contact your neighborhood school directly.
