The shopkeepers here are Asian. I'm not sure if they are Korean, and I've never seen a woman working there (the 1101 Mart next door is owned and run by a Korean family). Me & My Supermarket is just a basic corner store. The sell the usual peanut butter, canned goods & bread. Mostly they seem to sell (based on the few times I've been inside) lottery tickets & beer. I tend to favor the 1101 Mart because there is actually space to move around, the staff is more polite & the selection is better.
That is probably who I've seen then. Usually around 7:55 or 8:00 I've seem a Woman who is opening up her business near there. It could easily be the 1101 Mart.
Though a bike ride instead of a walk for most of us, Marty's is the best market in the area. #rd and D NE. They have everything, even capers. And great wines.
Do you mean Martin's Market at 3rd/F NE? There's no market at 3rd/D; the closest possibilities would be Schneider's (great, but no market) and the market at 241 Mass (nothing special IMHO).

I always see that lady opening up her store in the mornings when I leave for work. (At least if it is the Korean shopkeeper).
What kind of stuff do they carry? Is it the usual fare for the neighborhood?
