Farmers Market Tomorrow
When: 8:30am-12:30pm Where: 600 block of H Street NE What: A farmers market featuring breads, cheeses, veggies, fruits, scones, pies, and more. Rain, or shine.
Last day was this past Saturday. It was sad to see them go, but I did find out they will be back next year. The sales apparently went up as the summer went on, but most were still disappointed. Next year is the last time if it doesn't get busier. So many people say they want fresh produce and bread, but where were they? Skip those trips to Whole Foods next year and lets all come out and support our local farmers and bakers. Not only are there lots of great foods, but they will explain how to cook them. And not just veggies, the best sausage and feta cheese I've ever had. And the scones... this is a real gem in our neighborhood not enough people take advantage of.
