That is apparently the name of the gym opening up in 1005 H Street.

Here's a shot of the building prior to renovation. Here's the new website.

I'll see about getting an up to date photo.

What was happening in your photograph? It appears to be a man--with holstered firearm?--running. Was he a police officer chasing somebody?

Any chance that locals who "pre-join" can get a good discount.

A local gym back home did that years ago and built a solid base of clintelle for many, many years.

It give a good incentive for those in the community to get in on the ground floor.

Do you know what monthly rates will be?

What equip/services they will provide?

1. This is an old photo. The guy running is a cop. He ran into my shot. He was pursuing a guy who ran aroound the corner & then dropped to his knees to surrender.

2. I haven't heard a thing about rates, or services.

3. I have heard that someone has bee trying to convince the owner to put is a juice bar downstairs, but I have no idea if that will happen.

Is there any word on a projected opening date?

Speaking of gyms, does anyone have a recommendation for a gym in the vicinity of the Capitol Hill neighborhood? I play basketball and occasionally work out at the Sherwood Rec. Center, but my wife is looking for a place with nicer machines and such. Also, does anyone out there know anything about "Results: the gym" located at 315 G Street, SE?

Results is great--beautiful facility. I am looking forward to checking out this new place. I live right off of 10th and H, brochures were placed on our doors today and it looks like it will be pretty nice. The link to the website is www.wpfitness.com.
Apparently there is an open house this Saturday the 17th and according to the flyer, there will be free classes all day:
8:30-10 vinyasa flow warm up
10-11 sports circuit triaining
11-12:30 wellness workshop
1-2 pilates
2-3 hand dance
3-4 BOSU trainer and stability ball. And it says there will be pre grand opening discounts available.
