The Story at the Atlas

The African Continuum Theatre Company is offering THE STORY by Tracey Scott Wilson.

Inspired by the Janet Cooke/"Jimmy's World" scandal at the Washington Post, The Story follows an ambitious black newspaper reporter as she investigates a murder and manipulates information to further her own career. Wilson explores the elusive nature of truth as the boundaries between reality and fiction, morality and ambition become dangerously blurred.

The African Continuum Theatre Company is the resident theatre of the Atlas Performing Arts Center located in the newly revitalized H Street Corridor. The mission of the African Continuum Theatre is to produce and present theatre in the nation's capital from an African-American perspective and experience. All performances are at the
Atlas Performing Arts Center located at 1333 H Street NE, Washington, D.C. 20002. Tickets can be purchased through the Atlas Box Office at 202-399-7993.
