Harris Teeter/H Street in the News
Here's link to a report on new grocery stores in DC. It references the Harris Teeter letter of interest for the former BP site at 3rd & H NE.

If you click on this link and then on the Senate square site, under recent news are a summary of many of the articles recently in press about H Street. Many of them have been posted here on Frozen tropics but its a nice review of all of the positive publicity H street has received.
Steuart Development's presentation at the 6C Zoning Subcommittee and the Near Northeast Citizens Against Crime and Drugs spent a fair amount of time explaining the layout of the store & how it impacts the look/feel of their proposed project. They also explained how the high ceilings and mezzanine level were requirements of their grocery partner. They also indicated that negotiations were very close to being finalized with Harris Teeter. I think it will conclude, and HT will be part of the project.

I am tired of Harris Teeter's "letter of interest" are they coming or not?
