That's great news! Do you have any more information about Reader's Lounge (projected opening date, new or used, etc)? I did a google search and couldn't find anything about either the space or the store. I did talk to another tenant in that building (Outlaw & Assoc.) but they didn't know anything about it.

Sorry, typo. 412 H Street.
Apparently an ethiopian coffee shop/bakery type joint is going to go in on the 400 block as well. I think its at 417.
Also, a yoga place is currently renovating across the street at the laundromat. Lots of change.
Anyone know what happened to the sale of land on the 300 block? (i.e. the land opposite the HT/Steuart site?
Bookstore, yoga and Ethiopian coffee?!?! That is all terrific news, for one of the more neglected of the blocks.
Keeping my fingers crossed, but let's not "count our HTs before they hatch"... Need that pesky commitment first.
Is Readers Lounge a franchise or locally owned? I've never heard of it before. Is there another one in the area?
No idea. I only got the name because there was a sign sitting inside 421 along with some shelves full of books.
aesma_deva,
i'm also wondering if they will be selling new/used or both.
the pangs of h street envy!
that's very cool! i hope all this happens.
