Cinco de Mayo Argnaut Shuttle to Metro
Apparently, there is going to be a shuttle service on Friday night at the Argonaut (1433 H Street) to get people to the Union Station and Eastern Market metros.
The shuttle will run from 10 pm to 1 am - it will be based at the Argonaut and as patrons want to leave, the shuttle will take the patron to either Union Station or Eastern Market.
So now you'll hear no excuses from you non-Capitol Hill/Near Northeast/Trinidad dwelling friends about how they can't get a cab home. Shuttle buses people! Take advantage & spend your Cinco de Mayo right here on H Street.

speaking of the argnaut i hear that the CHEF at the ohio has left or got fired thats to bad thay had something going with him!I have gone to the ohio a few times and talked with him he seemed to be well versed in a few subjects not just cooking it was good to see that in a place like h st.oh well lets see what happens now.
Was it the same man in the my photos? Or was it one of the cooks?
yes it is.i found out some things about him.i will post them after i confirm it.but it is a shame, before he came the food was uneatable.
i'll say this for now he quite.I wonder why?? i went by their today the food sort of has the same tast i guess he tought them some but i can tell its not his cooking its not the same quality,it does not have the same richness to it. the fried cabbage plain tast bad and the mac and cheese is bland.
does anyone know how to contact him?
just got the word the former chef of the ohio rest.has got a job with one of the other soul food places on h st.,as for me im very happy now good soul food is still close bye.
Would you like to let us know where he will be working. Interestingly, a lot of staff in H Street bars & restaurants seem to hop from one H Street business to another.
I saw him today at the bus stop and he told me that he might start cooking at Birdland
